Recapping the Success of the Mist-Lining Workshop
We’re excited to announce the release of a video summarizing the recent success of the ‘Mist-Lining’ workshop, part of the Getty Foundation’s Conserving Canvas Initiative. Held at the National Museum in Gdańsk and led by SRAL experts Kate Seymour and Joanna Strombek, the workshop attracted conservators from Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Participants gained hands-on experience with the Mist-Lining technique, which is known for its effectiveness in preserving large-scale paintings and textiles.
