A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended my lectures on āBridging Disciplines: The Transferable Skills of Conservators in a Multidisciplinary Worldā on Friday 7 February 2025.
The first session at IIH Noida, New Delhi, was with first- and third-year Art Conservation students, while the second at IGNCA, New Delhi, brought together practicing conservators. It was truly inspiring to engage with both emerging professionals and mid-career conservators, exploring how our skills extend beyond traditional boundaries.
A particularly meaningful discussion emerged around communication and advocacy for ethical conservation, especially in the Indian context. How can conservators effectively engage with organizations to promote responsible and sustainable practices? Letās keep this conversation going!
Looking forward to more insightful discussions and collaborations ahead.
